Laser Cutting

I needed to use the laser cutter in order to create a stencil that I could wrap around a mug and Christmas balls. I had to turn the designs into paths on Illustrator.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to stencil onto the mugs so I very badly photoshopped the design onto the mug.

Screen Printing

I exposed a screen to print onto a set of canvas bags and a tea towel.

I also printed a series of A1 posters ^

These boards had to be stuck inside the canvas bags in order for the fabric to stay flat. When I took them out I found that the ink had seeped through which created faint cool looking triangles. ^

Idea for a set of icons

In order for the design to be interchangeable over a range of occasions such as birthdays, weddings ect.. I have quickly designed a couple of icons, for example if you wanted a birthday card the card will have the words, 'happy birthday' in my negative font along with the birthday icon (see below).

Final Box

After my crit I changed the design on the box slightly. I repeated the words, 'promoting paper as a key design element' across the front and back of the box.

I designed a sticker to wrap around the front and back to keep the box closed flat.
